Is there a diagnostic fee paid in addition to any repair costs?

Diagnostics are free unless an out-of-warranty repair is declined, in which case a troubleshooting fee will be applied.

Do I have to be affiliated with UF?

No. While our main goal is to provide service to UF Students, Faculty and Staff, we are also open to the general public.

Do I need to make an appointment?

No, you may bring in your computer any time during our business hours.

Do I have to pay up front?

No, payment is due at the time of pick-up.

Do you service iPhones?

No, we are currently not authorized to service iPhones.

What about iPads and iPods?

We offer glass and LCD repairs as well as whole unit replacements through Apple.

How long do repairs usually take?

Our average turnaround time is 3-5 business days.

Do you sell Apple products?

Yes, you can purchase Apple products in the UF Bookstore.

Something was just spilled on my computer!

Turn off the machine and bring it in right away. If we can take the computer apart and clean it up before corrosion sets in, it may make the difference between paying for a minor repair and having to buy a new computer.
